Sweet dreams

Dream Catcher

I bought this dreamcatcher from Bali at approximately $1.50 a few months ago. Pretty, isn’t it?

Some time later, I was at Sentosa with a couple of friends bringing Taiwanese friend around (yknow, just doing touristy stuff and of course Sentosa has to be one of the places to bring tourists to when they come to Singapore) and there was this stall by I forgot which beach selling dreamcatchers at a whooping $20+! Seriously?! I think mine looks so much better and you definitely can’t beat that price.

So the moral of the story is, be prepared to get ripped off if you’re a tourist. Or, you can just choose to be a smart one and not buy things when they’re so expensive, even though you really like it because chances are, you’re getting cheated.
